Q: What has changed since you returned to real estate?
A: I think it’s a more strategic business. Client care has gotten so much better. Technology has made document preparation and transmission so much easier. Information is everywhere. I hate to say it, but Million Dollar Listing and Selling LA have turned the real estate deal into entertainment. It’s still a business of listening, remembering, and connecting the right person with the right property, with the highest level of competency and trust. More than ever—it’s who you know.
Q: Do you have any particular client transactions that you are the proudest of?
A: Discretion is everything and trust is paramount, so I can’t really call out one client transaction. My favorite ones are repeat clients who have bought or sold multiple residences with me. I love it when my clients refer me to their family members, their children, their neighbors, and colleagues. But everybody needs special care. I’ve represented some of the top people in Pacific Palisades, Malibu, and Brentwood too.
Q: Besides real estate, are you involved in anything philanthropic?
A: I am a Trustee of the Foundation Board at Saint John’s Health Center in Santa Monica. I love their dedication to compassionate care and their commitment to community health. My husband and I share a love for theater so we serve on the Center Theatre Group Board for the Ahmanson, Mark Taper, and Kirk Douglas Theatres. I also serve on the Riviera HOA Board. We support the Pacific Palisades Fourth of July Parade, the Women’s Club, and the Home & Garden Tour. It’s a pretty darned good life here!
